DRIVER’S SEAT

Empowerment is an inside job. It finds expression in possessing the authority to and taking responsibility for the decisions you make at whatever level you’re functioning at in current reality. It puts you in the driver’s seat, making you “large and in charge” of what is within your sphere. The responsibility piece includes you owning missed opportunities you could’ve seized, and humbly saying, “the buck stops here”. Strong and secure people are comfortable accepting ownership.
