Words of Wisdom

by Pastor Alphonze

KEY MOMENTS

It is recorded twice in the Bible that Jesus wept. The second instance is in Luke 19:41-42.  He wept because of the ignorance of the people. Israel was ignorant of her moment, her key moment.

In Ecclesiastes 9:11 the Bible teaches  “… the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and CHANCE happeneth to them all.

Luke 19:42:  “And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even though, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace, but now they are hid from thine eyes.”

That moment your spirit was urging you to pray, that moment something in your heart was nudging you to forgive. The moment your heart was filled with benevolence towards a person. That moment something in the inward was urging you to give, inspiring you to be kind. These all have KEY MOMENT POTENTIAL.

It is imperative to discern and be aware of the key moments and act on them. Actions trigger positive changes, birthing a whole new world.

Wasting key moments becomes increasingly costly in a world of endless possibilities.

Preparation is the prerequisite here. When preparation meets a key moment, history is made. Be ready for your cue, ready for when the light is on you.

I love to ponder on this verse, 1Chronicles 12:32:  “The sons of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.

Discern the key moments in your life and make sure you seize the moment!
